OPINION: Major Barriers Likely to Determine If Sifuna is Going to Be the Next President of Kenya!

Sifuna is the rally king and no disrespect intended, but he won`t be the president of Kenya unless he gets a DP from the Kikuyus, an ethnic group that remains isolated due to entitlements. On top of that, the Sifunated cultism is non-existent in the Great Rift Valley, Coast, North Eastern, and even Nyanza up to a certain degree, all of which are current President William Samoei Ruto’s strongholds.

The people must read between the lines. For Gachagua to support Sifuna, he must have their own in Mt. Kenya West who can obey his commands. Currently the sifunated is hidden behind emotions and euphoria of politics so obviously the man himself will capitalize on it. If you look closely at the senatorial debates and committee hearings of Sifuna, you will see that there is something about him which is close to ego, pride, abrasiveness, arrogance, and self-admiration. These are not the attributes of an ideal and trustworthy national leader. Though it is good to populists since it counters the current government. However, the same will leave a wound that can never be overlooked.

The truth is that there would be strings attached when he leans on Wamunyoro-DCP groups who would definitely stab him in the back if he chooses to go rogoe, considering the case that saw Riggy G being impeached. In the same way, the Uhuru group would wish to protect themselves from any form of loss and would want something in return.

Sifuna cannot also depend on his own Luhya tribes because they do not seem capable of voting as a block. Mudavadi officially controls about ~400,000 votes for the WSR. This means that the only thing left is the Kikuyu group he can lean on, but we have already mentioned the requirements and strings attached that will be demanded from them. That is why WSR is not concerned at all.

So who will Sifuna deputize? That will be a waiting game and the biggest determinant of whether he has any chance against WSR.

Projects done and on-going by President Ruto countrywide have made me change my mind and by 2027, his works will make him the best president with 5 years of performance and he will be back in 2027. Whatever IEBC announces is final; it doesn`t matter what the crowd says. Oftentimes, whoever counts the votes has more power over the voter but I am not here to justify what is right or wrong. Just don’t take it to heart when things don’t go your way.
