Cities With The Most Billionaires in 2026!

According to the Hurun Global Rich List 2026, the ranking of cities with the most billionaires worldwide as of January 15, 2026, reveals New York as the world’s billionaire capital with 146 billionaires, albeit with a narrowing gap. Notably, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing occupy the second, third, and fourth positions globally, positioning China as a formidable competitor with three cities in close proximity to New York’s total. China’s presence in the billionaire landscape extends beyond its largest cities, with Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Suzhou, and Ningbo also emerging as prominent billionaire hubs. Collectively, eight Chinese cities feature in the ranking, accounting for 34% of all represented billionaires.

Asia dominates the ranking, accounting for 58% of billionaires across the featured cities, driven by China’s strong presence and other major cities such as Mumbai, New Delhi, Singapore, Taipei, Bangkok, Seoul, Jakarta, and Tokyo. Notably, India’s presence is significant, with Mumbai and New Delhi ranking among the global top 11.

London ranks fifth globally with 102 billionaires, followed by prominent appearances from Moscow, Paris, Milan, Stockholm, and Istanbul. In North America, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Toronto, and Palm Beach continue to attract substantial wealth concentrations.

Meanwhile, Dubai’s inclusion underscores the Middle East’s growing prominence as a hub for entrepreneurs, investors, and high-net-worth individuals.
