Zero-day Vulnerabilities Discovered in Google Chrome! Multiple Critical Warnings Issued!

The Google Chrome team just published a warning for Windows and Mac users over a zero-day vulnerability that hackers are already exploiting. Insufficient data validation in Mojo critical CVE-2021-4098,  High CVE-2021-4099, High CVE-2021-4100, High CVE-2021-4101, High CVE-2021-4102. So far, a total of $10,000 reward was issued to two of the individuals that reported to Google. “Access to bug details and links may be kept restricted until a majority of users are updated with a fix Google notes.

The search engine goliath is issuing a caution to every one of its browser users. The update fixes a dangerous bug that has been branded “critical” in a blog post being circulated worldwide, making headlines as Google Chrome users are told to exercise caution. “Google is aware of reports that an exploit…exists in the wild,” Google confirmed. The flaw relates to a use-after-free bug in the V8 JavaScript and WebAssembly engine, which could have severe consequences ranging from corruption of valid data to the execution of arbitrary code.

To update your browser, go to settings, a three-dot icon to your top right, expand settings and hover to privacy and security and check for an update then restart your browser.
